At a flea market in Paris I bought a collection of old lace. This was my favorite: a tiny strip with covered buttons on one side and loops on the other, probably from a baby’s festive garment in the 19th century.
Years later I photocopied it, along with dozens of other objects, and printed the copy on a white cotton tee. Details
